It’s time to register for Kindergarten!

School District No. 64 extends an invitation to all parents of kindergarten-age children to register for full-day Kindergarten starting September 2024. If your child turns five (5) years old on or before December 31, 2024 (born in 2019), please complete the registration process at the school within your residential catchment area. MAP

When registering your child for kindergarten, please bring the following documentation: 

• Verification of the child's birth date and citizenship status (birth certificate, passport, or Landed Immigrant authorization)
• Proof of residency
• B.C. Care Card

Should you wish to enroll your child in a school outside of your catchment area (non-neighbourhood school), a cross-boundary transfer request form (Fillable PDF | PDF) must be completed annually (Policy and Procedure 525).

Prior to submitting the form to the requested school for approval, parents must obtain signatures from the principal of the neighbouhood school. The form will be date-stamped. The deadline for accepting cross-boundary request forms is February 15. Placement is subject to the availability of space. Transportation for out-of-catchment requests is not guaranteed.
